Alkyl phenolic resin used in the rubber industry as tackifying resin in order to improve the tack of natural and synthetic rubber-based compounds. It is used particularly for manufacturing tires, belts, hoses etc. for which many parts have to be built up prior to vulcanization.

Rosin Modified Resins

Glycerol Ester Gum and Penta Ester Gum are thermoplastic resins produced by esterifying natural rosin with glycerol or pentaerythritol.
